Charles Poliquin VS Ian King...

New member
Hello guys:)
I am a new member to this site.
My name is Odysseas, I am 19 years old (in a few feeks i become 20 :) ) , I'm 5 7' and I weigh 15 pounds. I come from Cyprus, but now I study Media Technology in Germany.
The past few weeks I visit this site and it has been very helpful to me. I was always doing sports in my life like tae kwon do, swimming, thai boxing, breakdance and the same time resistance training.
But the past 6 months i took bodybuilding much more seriously.
I try to eat 6 meals a day, workout 3 days per week, cardio 1 day per week , and I 'm looking for gaining mass.
Now enough about my self. I'm sure you are getting bored. Let's get to the meat.
I read much in testosterone.net for Charles Poliquin and Ian King and I want to follow a routine by one of these two. I've found an ebook writen by Will Brink called 'Muscle building Nutrition' where Charles POliquin wrote a chapter about his Principles and sample mass programs. On the other side there is Ian King with his Get Buffed book which I also heard that is great.
I am between these two books and basically I have to decide whether I follow Charles Poliquin's or Ian KIng's mass routine.
Is there a way to tell which coach is the best?
I know, they are both great, but I am a bit of a perfectionist and I want to have your opinions.
Whose book should I buy or whose routine should I follow?
I will really appreciate it if you give your thoughts on this.

ciao!

P.S: How can I post pictures of me to tell me your opinion?

1) Your parents gave you an excellent name, phile.

2) Go with Poliquin. I find his book, The Poliquin Principles, to be a good choice, and I consider Poliquin a better authority than King.

Yassou.

Can you, or somebody, give a breakdown of their ideas? (Sorry, don't own the books)

I doubt I could boil it down to a post. Many of their articles are are available at T-mag, though, in the back issues.

I forget how much the books have cost me, but they were purchased at Barnes & Noble.

try the bodybuilding truth by nelson montana.

exellent material except for the chapter on clomid which i didnt exactly agree on.

I'd suggest Bryan Haycock's HST over Nelson Montana's anything.

I'd pick Poliquin over Nelson as well.

My only issue with Poliquin is he tends to have women do "girlie" exercises. Women can train in the same manner as men; we don't need to do stupid exercises like cable kickbacks.
