is 3 days a week on an empty stomach in the morning enough? I do it for 30 mins. Or should i bump it up to 5 days a week? Im on a low carb diet. Thanks
 
what's your goal and stats??
I'm on a low carb now also and I do 4-5 sessions on empty stomach in the morning for 30 min also.....really can see a difference....
 
my goal is to get down to 8% while maintaining all muscle if not gaining some. I think i may bump it up to 5 days a week since i am already well conditioned from bball. Would i lose too much muscle with this?
 
i think on a low carb diet you always risk losing some muscle, but are you on a keto diet or a cyclical carb diet or what, some specifics would help.-josh
 
im basically having mainly meat, rice, and fruits and vegies, dotn know what time of diet, just real clean. i eat around 6 meals a day. I take 2 protein shakes each having 50 gs of protein. All the meat i eat is measured in ounces, each big meal ill have about 4-5 oz and small meals ill have 2-3. Thanks for all the help. As for cardio i am doing stair stepper/bike/jump roping, switching back and forth.
 
i think this varies, some people will find 3 enough some may need 5 some even 7 days a week

just see how little u can get away with and still be happy :)
 
might want to drop the fruit and add a low gi carb source instead..... Just a suggestion. Generally fruit is not the best thing when trying to diet down to a low bf... Rice might also be something to try and replace with sweet potatoes... Try for a week - you should see a difference

make sure the intensity of the cardio is not too high - the board concensus on cardio is 20 minutes of high intensity or 40 minutes at a lower intensity.

Yeah Woonaki is right. I read somewhere that the fructose in fruit is bad news when you're trying to cut up. I cut out fruit and dairy all together and i can see the difference
 
maybe u will feel a little flat but u shouldn't lose much muscle...I progress pretty good still weight the same....feel alittle flat but it's cuz the low carb!

ok, will do, thanks for all your help thus far, ill stick to 3 days, what should i replace the fruit with, i saw somewhere in there sweet potatoes for rice but what for the fruit? Thanks!
