So would carbs (simple) only stop the natural release of growth hormone and not the synthetic type. Very confusing as to guys having growth require them. I thought I read that the carbs had more to do with insulin release and controlling cortisol. Getting natural testosterone back to a higher level quicker. I actually prefer my 25g of maltodextrin, 25g of dextrose and whey as I feel a lot better after a workout. Just my two bobs worth
