Carb intake on my lean bulker

I guess by my reckoning that this is to be a 14 week cycle with goal increase overall mass by 8kg(17lbs) & reduce BF by 3-4%. Personally, I think you will be struggling with the lack of carbohydrate. Remember that the bodies main source of food for energy comes from a carb source. There will be a time under such reduced carb load that the body will switch to backup sources of energy & this can be protein stored in muscle mass & stored fat is sometimes the last source. I know everyone is different & needs to find what works for them but I would be inclined to get some other good clean complex carbs like broccolli, red capsicum, green peas, courgette, kiwifruit, grapefruit, strawberries & the daily banana into your plan as well. Or as suggested alternate carbs on & off on different days.

Thakn guys.

Holy ghost - I have been zig-zagging somewhat. I go for eat as much sushi as you like twice a week (intentionally - not as a cheat). So i guess my carb intake is probably about 350-400g on 2 days of the week. Is this sufficient, or would you up it even more on the high carb days.

fats are more important if you are lowering your overall carb intake, whether you are carb cycling or not - they do not make you fat, they keep hormones in check (with out fat your body could not function) and provide energy when other sources are low. roughly 0.5grms of good fats per pound of LBM - saturated fats are still good fats and keep natural test levels in check but sat fats must be the lowest percentage make up of your fat content. add olive oil to your shakes, or to your complex carbs - flax seeds are thought of as being good but are estrogen promoters similar to soy, best to avoid these.
when carb cycyling its best to keep a minimum of 50 to 120 ish grms carbs (dependant on person) on low days as when you drop carbs too low, this causes a reduction in effeciency of the thyroid i.e. it decreases your metabolism, which you do not want.
i would always opt for carb cycling when cutting or bulking, it makes a big difference for most.

ya, i have been been doing a low carb diet for 3 and half weeks on my cypionate/winni cycle where i eat really strict for 5 days a week, 1 which isnt always perfect and 1 that is moderate carbs (25-30 %) and have lost 11 pounds. i always take flax oil and udos 3 6 9 twice a day. Make sure u get your fats in there like cincin said and tons of protein becasue it keeps you way more sastified on this kind of diet wich can get really frustrating at times.

This is very good advice. I am not on gear, but I do Carb Cycle. I am able to add lbm basically year round with little to no fat gain. I typically eat High cho, Med cho, Low cho, High cho, Med cho, Low cho, Low cho.... I would also drop the Flax. Try some Calson's Finest lemon flavor fish oil. One Tblsp is about 16 g of the best fish oil money can buy. Good luck.
