anyone else hate their high carb day?

i used to look forward to it but now it just rocks the boat... i like my regular old low carb day best... even if it leaves me a little spaced out.

lol

Look at me I hate carbs

I think you know that's not what I meant. Dammit, Plank... Now everyone has to suffer through my explanation!!!

I don't hate carbs... I was merely lamenting the fact that my body, like most people's gets used to how ever many carbs I give it.

In a constant state of carb depletion, though, a small "shot" of carb feels like crack (or some fraction of what I imagine crack to be like... You know lab rats will actually choose sugar over cocaine?). Carb cycling is difficult for the same reason that it works... It fires the metabolism into high gear but then pulls away the fuel so that the body will turn to fat stores (yes, I'm aware of the gross oversimplification).

I'm fighting the same feeling one gets the day after a cheat meal, trying to get back on the same plan. Sometimes when the cheat arrives it feels like it would almost be easier to not have it, right?

Well, that's the point... When it's hardest for the dieter is when the stubborn fat will come off. I'm not talking about being overly hungry. Just that mildly annoying state of wanting more carbs... Wah wah wah.

I am pretty sure somewhere in this world people have bigger problems than this.

First world problems :(
Lol.
I know the feeling though, when I used keto (sub 10 carbs per day averaged) id have a bit of carbs and want to eat everything shortly after... Helped when I ate the carbs as last meal of day (hard to crave when sleeping :)

You don't even need much carbs to grow at all. If your on anabolics, and training and eating right, you can play around with your diet and still grow and get leaner, you can swich to using more fat throughout the day, and also eat more protein, and save carbs for before you life and after.
