carb cycling/no carbs day

i've read about carb cycling and the high, medium, and no carb days....now my question is, on the no carb days is it just extrictly protein or would anything that contains carbs, like milk, salads, fruit, veggies be conciderd a no no for no carb days? i mean when it says no carbs are they saying no starchy carbs? like potatoes, rice, otameal? or are greens acceptable

virtually everything has carbs, just avoid carb sources..

you'll still end up around 50g of carbs on a 'no carb' day..

wow...so just protein all day...dam thats gona be tough :worried:

don't forget about fats, brutha...

eat nuts, fish oil, olive oil, etc

a no carb day is easy..ill just have like 1.5 oz of peanuts and 4-6oz of chicken breast + green beans / brocolli

drink lots of water

On a zero carb day, you should be eating somesort of mixed salads with your protein source... Get your EFA's in... Stay away from dairy, fruits, and any kind of sugar product...

My low carb days are protein + veggies for the meals.......you can also add fats instead of the carbs.....

I just go low carbs instead of no carbs. I try for around 100g a day or a little under.

exactly.

Going no carb has no meaning, unless on a ketogenic diet. In other words, going "No carb" for one day is not going to do anything for you

In general if the solution is extreme in fitness, you're probably going about it the wrong way.
