Can't lose weight!!!

Case123

New member
Need help people! I'll keep this short......I have low testosterone (below the scale 9-35) and have just started on andriol testcaps that the Dr has prescribed for me. I have had weight issues for the last 10 years. I am now over 140 kgs and with bad knee joints and have trouble exercising for long periods. I've had all tests done and no issues across the board. I burn around 1600 calories per day at work as I'm a landscape gardener. I need some guidance to help me drop 30kgs by the end of June. My metabolism has been slow for a while now. I know that andriol isn't a great AS but what can I add to help me get this weight loss started and get ripped? I was thinking Teststack no17. I eat pretty clean and drink over 4 liters of water per day. Please help........very frustrated. I've been burning 1600 calories for 12 weeks straight with no shift of any weight........wtf is going on? Will bumping my test levels up help me drop visceral fat?

I'm 40. I try and eat a balanced diet. Processed and fast foods rarely consumed. I try to consume 2200 calories per day but I think I need more. As I said my metabolism is slow so how can I get these macros right and what should I be focusing on to drop this weight? will andriol plus teststack work for me? Should I look at adding anavar?

If u start adding compounds like androl ur gonna gain weight mass and water ...

What's ur current bf if u had to guess?

Think you need to really drop the gear stay on ur doctor test dose

And revamp meal plan

If ur over 140kg and fat

U need to keep it simple

Palm portion meats
Two fists green veggies
A half dollar size portion healthy fat

If u keep meals balanced like that keep ur cardio up ( swimming helps with bad knees) also bike ...

U will drop some weight if u pushing a high weight like that u just need to tighten up diet counting macros at 140 kg is not necessary

Have u checked thyroid ?

If u can't drop but are pushing urself to eat clean & portion control

Then there could be a underlying issue

If you are overweight you probably have a high cortisol level. Also note that fat likes to turn test into estradiol or estrogen. So being overweight you should look into something to block that conversion. Also make sure your doctor tests your cortisol level as DRs for whatever reason hate testing this. Adrenosterone is good at reducing cortisol level.
Try not to drink your food.

Also if you're a landscape gardener you should be burning way more than 1600 cal per day. More in the range of 2500.

What does a typical days food look like? Please tell the truth otherwise we can't help you reach your goals.

First thing I would do is go back to your doctor and ask to get put on Testosterone injections rather than oral.

Second, while you are at your doctor, ask him to have your thyroid checked. T3 or T4 could be beneficial for you if you think your metabolism is slow.

If you have joint pain, then some GH peptides could help with this and accelerate fat loss.

I'm only gauging the 1600 calories on what area I cover in steps etc. I definitely would be up around the 2500 which is why it concerns me that I'm not losing any weight at all. I've had all the checks done and no risk of diabetes, heart or liver issues, both good and bad cholesterol in very healthy ranges. No issues with thyroid either. My last body scan said I was 109kgs of muscle, 24kgs of visceral fat and 7 kgs of subcutaneous fat. Now whether that's correct or not, it's all guide to determine my focus areas wouldn't you think?

I've had the thyroid checked and all clear. No issues with with anything like diabetes, cholesterol etc. Also, why injection and not oral?

Typical Day of Eating

Breakfast - breakfast shake of egg whites, oats, frozen berries, cinnamon & Stevia. A cup of coffee as well. I start sipping water as soon as I wake up.

Snack - banana plus Greek Yogurt and some almonds

Lunch - most of the time it's chicken and salad or vegies

Snack - boiled eggs, celery and capsicum(peppers)

Dinner - chicken and vegies or salad. We mix it up a bit with different flavors but we stay away from too many carbs.

If any of this is wrong which I think it is coz it's not helping me then I'll change it.

Its all about the weight loss. Thanks to all of you that have contributed here. I await your input. Cheers

Your not eating enough.... You may have to start eating more and then take food away later. That's the hard part with dieting is you get to a point you can't really take away more food and be healthy

My last bf test was 31% but that was some time ago. I would think it has changed too much in the last 7 months. I'd say it would be around 35 at the moment.

I would take away those simple carbs and add some complex carbs to your meal Poland. Spread them out over your meals and add some fats to your meals at night

Wait you said your burning 1600 calories.. How many calories are you eating a day though? you weighing your stuff?

My metabolism has been slow so I'm at 2200 to 2500. How many should i be eating? Give me a number to aim for and I'll give it a shot

You should go a full week where you accurately measure, weigh your whole foods and count your calories... to be honest 300lbs is a lot, without even knowing your height btw...Whats your height?

Your maintenance calories (meaning what you really are eating daily is probably somewhere closer to 3000+. If you buy a weight scale and measure everything and count your calories, which is so easy now a days... download an app on your phone that accurately tracks calories (my fitness pal is a good one) and literally just count everything that you are eating even condiments.. If you were really eating 2200-2500 calories, you should be dropping weight with your current weight. unaccurately counting your macros/calories is one of the main mistakes people make and they start looking for other solutions.

I would not drop below 2500 with your current weight though. Just count correctly.

This advice is golden

U can have adverse effects of u get to low on ur cal

Like stated before ur not eating enough

Get a food scale some measuring cups and make sure that you weigh in portion everything out if you can't do that a good eyeball for 6 ounces of meat is about the size of your palm and The height of a deck of cards

Everything people say about you not eating enough is spot on. If you are eating very little and burning lots of calories your body goes into starvation mode in a sense. Meaning it holds onto everything. The slow metabolism and low test is a horrible combo.

To be honest I don't know what to think. Part of me doesn't believe you about your diet. I know guys who struggle to lose weight eating next to nothing due to the above reasons. But if you are around 30% bf and around 300 pounds I can not believe that diet. Are you sure you are disclosing everything? Do you snack on anything? Do you drink lots of soda etc? Lots of fruit? Lots of anything you haven't mentioned? Honestly 99% of people in your situation when they list their diets leave things out and don't mention the odd takeaway or the fact they drink 4 litres of coke per day. At the same time that diet looks decent and some thought has gone into it so not sure what to think.

If that is your diet something is very wrong. Test injections would be better as mentioned previously... twice weekly is what you need to ask for.

All the above advice is correct. My recommendation would be to better educate yourself on how your body actually loses weight. If you lose 30 lbs and 20 of that is muscle then are you really better off?? You have to combine cardio with weight training and a super clean diet to lose weight. Believe me I'm doing it right now and its hard as hell.

That is pretty much what I have and it's been like that for the last 6 months. I've had the occasional KFC, McDonald's or pizza meal but that is like a cheat meal.
The only other thing I can think of that has contributed to me getting this size is alcohol.....and a lot of it. Whilst that doesn't happen at all anymore it was bad there for a while........divorce will do that to you!
