busy at work, no sleep, =?

injury prone

New member
I want to get back into the gym! My problem is I work 12 to 15 hr. days, heavy lifting all day. I go to bed at 10:00 pm and wake up at 4:00 am. I have Sun, Mon, Tue. off so on those days I can work out and get at least 8 hrs of sleep. My question is am i setting myself up for failure or injury if I get back into the gym? I'm wondering if my body can handle the added stress of lifting weights again. I guess I just need a little motovation to get my ass in gear and start lifting! Can I pack my training into 3 days and go back to work fully recovered and still have my muscles growing? I know alot of you guys might have office jobs and can get 8 to 10 hours of sleep a night. I cant! Any reply's are greatly apreciated

i don't see why you can't throw a workout in on those off days.pay close attention to your diet, make sure you're getting whay your body needs.if you can, supplement with protein,glutamin.creatine...you know?you can hit the weights 3 times a week and do well.stick with your basic moves and watch the volume.get your ass on the ball, bro!!go to the gym and stimulate those muscles and go home and grow.

Rest is so important to growth

Sorry man i would at least take one rest day, unless your on roids. the late great Mentzer would agree rest is important and often disregarded by bodybuilders.

:) Hey thanks guy's. I think I could take off Tuesdays, and skip a back routine in the gym. I deliver food to restaurants for a major food supplier and load my 2 wheeler hand cart with usually 100 to 400 lb. of food at a time. My back is in pretty good shape. I'm going to start up in the gym this Sunday. One advantage for working for a food company, boneless skinless chicken breast for $1.20 a lb. Hee hee!
