I love to hear that you're blading - blading is how I found this site.
It's a fabulous workout and you know you can get cross country ski poles, carbon tips and you can cross country rollerblade.

Funny thing is, I've had the same blades for YEARS! I mean YEARS... so I venture out to go buy some new ones (mostly cuz Mr. B wanted a pair and asked for me to take him to the 'paths'... i Figured what the hell). That was an excursion in itself as NO WHERE had size 14's...

Anyway, I bought a pair of K2s and ended up with sore ankles and a blister. I mean they killed my ankles after like 30 minutes (I lived in my old blades from like 96-02). They didn't have the Mens in my size so I opted for the Women's version ... MISTAKE ... I have to drive out the place (~40 Minutes ) to return them (if I even can) so I was a little peeved about it, but got over it ... and have been using my old school ones, with no brake and slanted wheels because I loff them... :heart: (I know , not very 'bunny' ) :rainbow:

I love blading too, but I'm scurred to death. I won't attempt it though, cause I'm scurred I'm gonna get hit by a car, or worse a bus. It would be a hell of a workout if I managed to blade to or from the gym.

I'll just say that the picture showed some "muscle" while still highly "feminine"... which is basically what the article was geared toward.

I am pleased that I was taken seriously based on my experience rather than how many LETTERS I have next to my name. (CPT, XYZPQD, ETC, MDofSTFU&T :D )

The obvious physical transformation that those in my daily life have seen up close is the reason why the lady who wrote the article was referred to me in the first place (not knowing ANYTHING about what I've actually accomplished and been 'up to'). The emotional journey is just as powerful and wonderful as the physical and I am happy to share that with these people who take the time to come up to me and truly show concern, wonder and often amazement.

In some ways I’m satisfied because the article (although very briefly) sets the record straight on what I’ve accomplished to help clear up the misconceptions people (esp. at my gym) have formed about me. If I only really cared what people thought… STFU & train already… :rolleyes:

It's a little different 'seeing' me in person and seeing my ‘BEFORE BEFORE pics’ since November. Trust me very different than the pics on Page one of my Log back in January 05. I got the first 15 lbs off by myself. Ouch :) I was lucky to come across EF while doing my research for getting over my plateau and *bang* here I am.

you are one of the strongest people I know!!! I know you dont like to talk about it... But I think one day when you feel strong enough you should try to write a book about your journey.. you took something that would distroy most people and turned into some more positive than most people do in there whole lives... your a huge inspiration to me and I know you could help so many people going through what you did.... just a thought but I think you should consider it...

* Spinach and Artichoke Fondue with Garlic toast points
* Caesar, Spinach or Chopped Salad
* Blue Cheese Crusted Filet - Broiled with a blue cheese crust
or
* Prime Rib Large Cut - 16oz with horseradish sauce, au jus , rubbed with fresh garlic, and slowly roasted
*One or more of the following: Creamed Spinach, Steamed Broccoli with Herb Butter, Redskin Mashed Potatoes, BBQ Rubbed Sweet Potato,
White Cheddar Au Gratin Potatoes
* Deserts - Not sure yet
* Cocktails - Fine Red or Vodka Tonics with Lime

On Sunday (my birthday) and the following Monday Mr. B has something in the works (YIPPEE!!!) but I know it involves Pancakes, Italian Food and prolly wine...hopefully cake, ice cream and a ANPB rice Krispie treat :)

Hang in there! Does the steam from the shower help clear out your stuffies? You might try sitting at the table with a pan of boiling water and a towel over your head. Maybe put some Vicks or something in it to soothe. Or a facial steamer if you have one.

It was AWESOME... there was a Misting Steam Room too which was oober relaxing once I was able to breath in there. Reminds me, I totally need to start hitting the steam back at my gym as well... my skin Effin' HATES me right now... :evil:
