Bumps from waxing chest?

I'm finally lean enough where I wanna get that little bit of chest/ab hair waxed off (it does make me look more ripped, right?), but I'm kinda worried about stubble/bumps...

When I shave I get some NASTY razor bumps till the hair grows back, so I basically only shave with a buzzer now... how's it work with waxing?

Not worried about red skin cuz I have a pretty dark complexion. Worried about the razorbumps, though, if my chest ends up looking like my neck a day after a shave I'll pass.

NB, I'm half-black (about the only thing I got from that are the razorbumps - no abs, no athletic ability, only fucking razorbumps) - any homeboys have probs with the waxing thing?

I have done it before, and it bumped up real bad!!!!. Buzz it short the shave it with a electric. Not the kind with the 3 round blades, the kind with the foil screen. They work pretty good. If you go tanning right after you shave that usually helps to.

get it done at a salon. the hair has to be long, otherwise it will just pull it or break it off at the skin level which is what causes the bumps.

You should probably have that checked out, it's not normal to get razorburn after shaving. Maybe try shaving in the shower with warm water and moisturizing soap instead of foam/gel or whatever you use.

I use Nair on my arms. Works great. But for my chest I shave it and instead of using shaving cream I use this stuff called Shave Secret. It's like an oil that comes in a little squeeze bottle and all you do is wet the area you're gonna shave, apply the oil, and shave. Helps a lot with ingrown hairs and I don't get the burn afterwards. Wal-Mart sells the stuff for about 2 bucks. Worth checking into. I also use it on my face.

I get shaving bumps when I first start shaving an area after letting it grow back.

The best thing to do is take a long hot shower, use some of the special shaving cream that reduces the bumps and then put hand cream on the area once a day. It keeps the hairs and skin soft so you don’t get any ingrown hairs.

After three or four shaves, I hardly get any more bumps.

Just don't ever use that Nair Home Wax Kit. My Girlfriend did my back and it looked like I had slept on a bed of nails the next morning.

I had my gf wax my shit the other day and I got bumps like a motherfucker but only up top between my tits below my neck. Small area but the damn bumps look like zits or some shit. I don't see how i get them up there but don't get bumbs on my "happy trail" when it gets waxed. Maybe she doesn't know what the hell shes doing....

Have any of you tried that NADS shit thats suposed to be like wax that you don't hafta heat???? I was thinking about getting some of that shit because that damn hot wax burns the shit out of my chest.
