Spatterson: Whoa! Kansas City - we drove past there last summer, on our way up to Omaha where my gf is from. Well, actually, she's from Newton, which is why we were there, but they moved to Omaha. We stopped in Emporia to visit a friend of hers. What a trip-out town! Although the pretty wooden houses were very cute. Strangely, Wichita is where my supplement suppliers are based!
I've learnt a lot of good Midwest humour from my gf - the area seems to call for it! Oh, and great accents!
I've never seen anywhere as flat as west Kansas - you're lucky you live in Missouri.
