Bros! Serious shit to think about here.

Being in the supplement business and seeing the results people get from using the supplements we make has me doing a 180 from what I thought of supps 5 years ago. If the supplements are made with near drug or gray market drug materials you can get supps to do things that pharmaceuticals can't do.
There is no pharmaceutical that can do what Glucorell R can do for instance.

The pros of yesteryear didn't have the supps available today but they looked much different and they had to have great genetics. Today even someone with average genetics can look like a monster because the supps/drugs can push them past their genetics.

Even the top pros know that drugs will only take them so far and that for some things they have to use supps.

The number one pro in the world uses as many drugs as a person can take. But he also uses Yohimburn ES and has for over a year. I can't say his name because I don't have permission to use it.

because theyre selling a dream. its a load of shit imo, and im a pharmacist i love that line ;) ) so my opinion is very valuable...to me lol.

pct in the form of anti es is very good though.

the rest of the supps bar protein, maybe creatine...largely not worth it

Creatine ( yes increases phosphate production, and helps form more ATP, ATP is mother natures jet fuel, and hence you can lift more wieghts for longer)

Ener-G (glutamine peptides) Yes, when your training balls out , getting cut or ill you drain you body of this preciuos amino, it is the primary fule for the immune system, so supplementing with it ensures the postive health of the organism, also their is some veidence its correltaed to lean muslscle presevation

Glucorell-r (r*-ala) yes it good, helps with glucose managament , and is the most powerful antioxidant.....why not ?

Protien powder? that is a crap shoot for convenince yes

casein and whey are best choices

We live in a short-cut driven society. We want the muscle the fastest way possible, so the supplement industry plays on that. They promise huge arms within weeks of use. Of course, the educated are smarter than this, but the money these corporations get are mostly coming from the people just starting out who have no clue. Hell, I even fell for the Cell-tech ploy a few years back when I first started out.

As for gear usage, I'm very suspect at the amounts they used (I think they used more than they are owning up to). I don't think any one of those old-time bodybuilders have come out and laid out exactly what they took and how much. It's all speculation and rumors. I mean, in the Pumping Iron DVD, Arnold says in the interview that they took 2 or 3 Dianabol a day. Gimmie a break! I think Louie & Franco still deny ever taking roids.

not to mention think of the acual number of beasts today versus then.

there were like 300 guys vs. 300,000 bodybuilders today..... big deal they all had superior genetics... you can get away with alot if you have the god given genes.

i think the supplements today help people that are not so god blessed in the muscle department.

So if I eat right, train right, TAKE GEAR....then drop stuff from the list like r-ALA and CLA??

Heavens NO! Supplements are back by scientific research. Health is holistic. Gear has negatives that you compensate for with supps.

Just my opinion, but I do have some experience with nutrition. You can fine tune your body through nutrition. Bio-chemistry is such an eye-opener.

Sure, research backed by the supplement companies!

EXACTLY!!!

Everybody has an agenda.

Well, there is something I need to know. I need to know if I'm making a mistake here or not. I get protein from proteinfactory.com. And I do get hydrolyzed proteins and amino acids in my shakes. I also add Bovine in it. Should I avoid these 3 items?????
