The difference is that back in the day people didn't expect to look like they did after 2-3 years of training. You guys want it all now and it just doesn't work that way.

Well your effective supplement list is good, I would add multi-vitamins and anti-oxidant formula, melatonin is also great for sleep and hormone regulation

CLA??? Last time I posted on this Macro said it was not effective in low doses and high dosses would give me the shits (and it did)
apparently they (scientists) will soon be able to fraction the isomer of CLA responsible for fat loss ans sell it - thus a resonable non-explosive shit causing supplement will be possible

It is possible that low dose CLA may have other benefits such as anti-catabolism and anti-cancer, I am only talking about high dose for fat loss (> 12 grams / day)

Honestly dude......I think it's all crap and WAY overrated. Most are just a money grab IMO.


Get a good whey protein, take a good multi-vitamen in the morning, and eat like it's going out of style.



As for my sexiness Jubei , I believe it has to do with my perfect arse....so round and lucious.LOL

since I started juicing, I have used pretty much only protein, joint supplements, creatine very rarely, and thats about it as far as supps, and have done pretty well I think
 
I agree that a lot of supps are a waste of money. Most of them you take and piss out the majority. Personally I'd say multi vitamins are one of worst when it comes to this. If you consume a good clean healthy diet there shouldn't even be a need for a multi. There are so many supps that have a real food alternative, which is the way to go.

Ginger root.... fuck it just use the real thing and add a little sliver of ginger to your meals.

Green tea extract.... screw all that scientific mumbo jumbo about ecgc's and polyphenols yada yada.... just drink green tea.

Creatine.... just eat more red meat.

The list goes on and on...

Personally I think there is some use for ala. Not only is it a potent antioxidant but it is also a great liver protectant as well. It's one of the best all around supps out there. I also think fish oil is a good product b/c there aren't too many clean sources of efa's now. My choice of supps would be ala, fish oil, and whey. Maybe also throw in some vitamin E as well. Other then that most are garbage and can be achieved through other means.
