Boxing / Weights

Uhm... I usually box for about 20 - 30mins after I workout, that includes; speedbag, hitting the bag, skipping the ropes after my workouts.. Is that effective?

1) workout, weight lift come home;

2) box; ie) skip rope, speedbag, punching bag
. about 20 - 30mins.

3) then shower

4) then protein shakes..

Is this okay?
 
I'm not a fan of post workout cardio, but thats just me. If you do it, use your "drive home" time to have some protein & carbs. The time you have your protein intake, its way too late.
 
yea u want yer protein intake asap after weight lifting, then eat some carbs and do yer cardio

errr.. how about doing boxing 1st, then weight lifting afterwards, given 1hr break between the boxing weightlifhting..
 
I do them separate because when you do them together the second part always is not up to 100%. I try to box in the morning and then hit the weights later on in the day. Any other way is just too much for my body and my progress is hindered...
