Bodyfat measurment with calipers

and if you could help me out..where on my body is the Midaxillary Skinfold, Subscapular Skinfold anf the Anterior Suprailiac? Im looking for a pictuer describing it..but i havent found it yet. I was using my electronic bf measurer, but it sucks donkey balls. This isnt 100% accurate either. But that darn machine shows me at 17% now. And i have abs. Go figure. It must be all the fat in my brain.

sub scapular.....sounds like the scapula (i think shoulder blade) so a diagonal pinch on the bottom of the shoulder blade


anterior suprailliac- sounds like the front above of the illiac bone. my anatomy is sketchy at best (i will have revised it in 3 weeks) but i think thats basically to the right or left of your belly button, taking the measurement near where that bony part at the bottom of your stomach is.

these are both measurement point i use when measuring my bf%

mid axilliary skinfold....i dont know where the axilliary is. your arm?

Subscapular is right below your shoulder blade the iliac crest one is right above your hip bone. I know thei is also one at the midpoint of your arm. Don't worry about the 17% the calipers have been know to have a 6% margin of error so you could be from 11% to 23%...
