I'm 26 y/o 5'11, 206 lbs
I got on starting strength for 6 weeks after being out of the gym for 16 mos. Now I've been on West Side for the past 10 weeks. All of my lifts are improving significantly, especially my Bench.
My goals are 3 fold: Overall strength, Physical performance, and Asthetics.
I have naturally broad sholders and my back is fairly massive (I do sets of weighted pullups)
My problem areas are my Chest & Traps.
What I need help with is programming to build a bigger chest and traps. I'm aware of the exersizes that are good such as incline DB press and fly's. I also hit the Cable cross overs and even peck deck from time to time.
What I'm wondering is how many times per week should I be hitting chest. I'm already hitting it twice per week ME and DE and doing chest assistance work on both days. Any suggestions on programming for my ME and DE days respectively?
Will programming designed to build my chest get in the way of my ME gains?
For Traps my question is less complicated. I want to know if anyone knows good Trap routines and how many times per week I should be hitting them.
