Considering that this blood test was made during my current cycle,
I think they're pretty good.

I would like to hear comments on the Liver function and the cholesterol.
As a side note, I did have a heavy workout 40 hours before the blood test was made
(which could contribute to the SGOT and SGPT)
Also, I guess the cholesterol profile being high could be lowered using nolvadex,
however, I'm against the use of nolvadex for long duration since I feel it
'looses' it's effectiveness as a tool along with clomid PCT for restoring HPTA
function. I was suggested so by GD on my previous cycle which laked proper
recovery. I prefer using SERM only PCT and using anti-aromatase such as
exemestane during cycle.

It's not the EQ.

junk - your ratio on your lipid profile is horrible - dangerously so.

Anavar absolutely crucfies hdl levels - the good cholesterol.

I would stop taking the var now.

Also, go get some flax seed, not the the flax oil. Grind up the seeds up in a coffee grinder and either take it with your oatmeal over hot water or by itself. Flax seed is rich in omega 3, 6 and 9 and will raise your HDL levels. I would also consider getting a prescription for Liptor or Lovastatin to lower the LDL levels. Double the dose of the policosanol, take garlic tabs and 20mg of Nolva ed. Nolva is also good for lowering LDL.

Do NOT tell your doc that your on a cycle. Tell him that you've been taking prohormones like M1T or something.

He has 1 week left of his cycle bro. His levels are out of range BUT they will come back. I highly doubt that his levels are going to get worse within a week while continuing the var unless he brings his dose up. I realize you are trying to take precaution but let the man finnish his cycle without freaking out about his levels and loose 10lbs because of the stress that you put on him.

To run var any longer than 6 weeks is not recommended.

Here's a study that clerly shows how var wreaks havoc on HDL levels. In this particular study var had such an effect on HDL that is wasn't even detectable! No offense, but if you don't know what you're talking about please refrain from giving people advice.

Oxandrolone and plasma triglyceride reduction: effect on triglyceride-rich and high density lipoproteins.

Hara T, Miller JP, Gotto AM Jr, Patsch JR.

Oxandrolone, an anabolic androgenic steroid, has been shown repeatedly to lower plasma triglycerides in hypertriglyceridemic patients. This study was performed to determine which of seven subfractions of triglyceride-rich lipoproteins are affected by the action of oxandrolone with respect to both their plasma levels and composition. Concurrently, we have determined the levels and composition of HDL subfractions and the plasma levels of the major HDL apoprotein, apoA-I. Oxandrolone was administered to two hypertriglyceridemic subjects, one with type III and one with type V hyperlipoproteinemia until plasma triglycerides were below the target level of 270 mg/dl. Two months and two weeks were required for the type III and type V patients, respectively. In both subjects, the treatment caused a reduction in the plasma levels of all seven subclasses of triglyceride-rich lipoproteins without altering their overall composition. LDL were at least temporarily increased. The reduction of VLDL subfractions caused by oxandrolone was accompanied by a progressive and consistent effect on HDL subfractions in both hypertriglyceridemic subjects; in the type III patient, oxandrolone reduced HDL2 from low pretreatment levels further until they became undetectable. The type V subject had no detectable HDL2 levels prior to treatment. In both subjects, oxandrolone lowered the levels of HDL3. This lowering effect was caused by a preferential reduction of the less dense, major HDL3 subfraction, i.e. HDL3L, causing the denser, smaller HDL3 subfraction, HDL3D, to become the predominant HDL class. The lowering of HDL levels was reflected by a decrease in the plasma levels of the major HDL apoprotein, apoA-I. This first report on the simultaneous reduction of VLDL and the larger, less dense HDL subclasses suggest that oxandrolone lowers plasma triglycerides by a mechanism other than increased lipolysis.

Thanks JA, the HDL and LDL are nothing horrible. I already had a worse profile in my 3rd cycle. I had HDL of 6 !!! and LDL of 300. After just 3 months post cycle they were both fixed within range. My doctor back then wasn't concerned (Although I was!) Even though the HDL was 6(!!!) He said, these levels never killed have 28 years old dude anyway (he said that even though he didn't know they were just elevated for 3 months during my cycle back then). Back then the ratios were more horrible and went up using NO policosanol and NO prescription drug.. go figure.

The total cholesterol is high but the major issue I saw was the LDL/HDL ratio. You're right, it won't kill you now but letting this ratio get out of wack for prolonged periods of time can and will cause problems later on. Something to consider.

Does VAR harsher than DBOL regarding LDL/HDL ?
So for example that instead of the 12 weeks I was on var, I was on dbols instead?
