These guys were all quality pitchers before, and some are effective now that they are no longer with the Yanks.

Well, for one...a lot of the guys that went to the White Sox actually now have coaches that are fluent in Spanish...this helps Garcia, Contreras, and Vasquez out immensely.

Second, the pressure of being a Yankee...the egos involved...and having your nuts squarely stood on by Steinbrenner and his cronies normally equals not-as-good performance.
