Bicep problem

Roadblock

New member
My left bicep is shorter than the right. It´s been like that since I started working out. Is there a way to make it longer? Stretching more?
It really fucks up my symmetry.

Sorry man, can't do much about it. Hopefully when they are, if they aren't already, fully developed, they look more alike. My left bi has a completely different shape than my right.

I have noticed that many of us have the same symmetry problem, particularly in the arms. For me it's both my triceps and my biceps wherein the left is stronger but the right is bigger.

genetics determine where the muscle attaches to the tendon so sorry bro.

I got more peak on right than left.

A friend of mine who´s a powerlifter said it looked like I had torn my bicep.

No way, you would know if it was torn. Don't listen to powerlifters either, they don't know anything about biceps. :D

and how do you believe that will 'lengthen' the bicep, or even give the appearance of a 'lengthend' bicep?

Sorry but it just doesn't happen.

well, it seems to me like it works your lower bicep. NO, it doesn't actually lengthen the bicep, it only works the lower bicep therfore developing the area. This development will possibly lead to the appearance of the bicep being longer by virtue of the fact that it is more developed where it does insert. I did not mean that it will lengthen, you got what you got as far as that goes, but you can develop what you do have.

haha!

How does one exercise hit the 'lower bicep' more than another?

Answer: it doesn't.

regions of the bicep can't be isolated, nor emphasised. The bicep either contracts or it doesn't and thus, the bicep either grows or doesn't [or gets smaller of course!]
