Best workout music.

I would like to know others opinions to. Ive been listening to the same stuff for several years and im burnt out. I RELY on music.

When i get to the gym its Ipod in and train.

I don't have time now to type out a storm but look into stuff like Sick Puppies, Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, 3 days grace, skillet, Slipknot, Mudvayne, Soil.

What about you guys?

Sounds like what I listen to, Hoss. Mudvayne, Slipknot, Disturbed, Drowning Pool. I even incorporate certain Limp Bizkit songs in there. Just ANYTHING that personally gives ME that pumped feeling when the music hits. I remember for a few months I worked out ONLY to that song Jump Da Fuck Up by Soulfy or Slipknot, or Corey Taylor and Soulfly or something? 3 minutes into it, it had this part "I'm a self destructive piece of shit, smear me in, I don't owe you a god damn thing..."... Oh man, it was all so bad ass. I can still get an extreme pump when that kicks in and sling some weights like it's nobody's business.

Too much to list lmao...but here is a taste:

Disturbed, Godsmack, Metallica, Slayer, Sevendust, Alter Bridge, Korn, Tool, Megadeth, Nickelback, Dream Theater, Ozzy, Sabbath...shit that gets my blood pumping!

As I lay dying

All music to kill shit to ;)

August burns red, and as I lay dying always get me pumped! Check out I the Breather if you haven't heard them. They are on constant rotation at the gym for me

My estrogen levels are up so I've been listening to chris cornell and guns n roses. Haha, I love stp, alice in chains, tool, and soundgarden to work out too. And yes, those were the bands I listened too in high school and college.

Tool, chevelle, soad, Metallica, rage, Eminem, pink Floyd, lynard Skynyrd, Beatles, jantis Joplin,TI, and a few others

Janis Joplin, Floyd, Skynard, Beatles...now there is some classic old school bro...I like listening to that during cardio, along with...ready...Creedence, Boston, Clapton, Stones, Zeppelin, Frampton, Eagles...all good music IMO. Rock-n-Roll is where it is at.

I play guitar too bro!!! well "play" as a relative term.

Although I love rock I am a metal head at heart! If I were to pick just one song to get me going in the gym it would be this one right here...

Fuck it...this one is a must song for any leg day...listen to this while doing ATG squats!!!

Enjoy...these boys are from my neck of the woods!!!

Dude, I have 3 guitars and Cant jam much :worried:
Rg270, EP-Les Paul special and a Whecter pathmaker.

Nice line up...I have a Takamine GX-200TB electric that I changed the pick-ups to EMG Select for the lead and an old Gibson Les Paul in the rhythm spot, and a Greg Bennett design electric acoustic for strumming on, I play Jack Johnson Upside Down for my little girl, as well as some of his other stuff. I plug into a Fender Mustang II amp that has all kinds of fun effects...so just a simple little set up for fun!

I've played all my life off and on and I consider myself a rookie lol! I just play for my soul, it takes me away from this place we call life for a little while, and when I can play for my little girl and bring her with me and watch her dance while I play = Priceless! I think we have taken over this thread talking about guitars lol!

Me personally i listen to really heavy rock it gets me pumped to workout im pretty everyone's different one of my friends listens to classical music while working out :P

311. Old school fusion shit get's me going. There are prolly 20 songs from 311 I've still got on my workout playlist.

Trance around the world with above and beyond :)

Good choices in this thread..many many years ago i would listen to heavy metal (in flames, static x, all that remains etc..)

But the past two years now, i only listen to electronic. Specifically Tech House/Techno/Trance/Drum and Bass/Dubstep..
Some house music can be weak, anything that has a beat can keep me in the groove in the gym. Even bobbing my head at times

i like bass and groove and less talking, so i usually opt for tech house.

Carl Cox, UMEK, Richie Hawtin to name a few, Toolroom records has some slammin artists

For example;
---i could listen to a full set of Carl cox anytime of the week: Carl Cox @ Join the Revolution, Space (Ibiza) [DanceTrippin Episode #118] - YouTube

Or UMEK live set:
UMEK @ Party with a Cause (Slovenia) [DanceTrippin Episode #231] - YouTube

I think i have electronic music ingrained in me forever. My favorite genre music of all time!

I will list genres this time instead of full page of different artist, lol!

I have recently listened variety of different bands, mainly a bit older records, it's been a while since I heard any new artist that would be worth listening to. Anyway these types of music work best for me atm:
Alternative-, Heavy-, Hard-, Doom-, Shock-, Glam-, Stoner-ROCK, Heavy-, Trash-, Attitude-, Black-, Progressive-METAL, Industrial, Punk Trance, Rave, Electro, Funk, Groove, Reggae, Gansta-Rap...
Bottom line: Anti-Pop & I <3 Music!

BPM station on Sirius XM radio. Nice variety for cardio. For strength days, I go with straight hip hop to get me pumped.
