best type of meal to be eaten after morning cardio?

got a question for you guys. Right now, as far as my diets concerned, I'm keeping my carb intake low-moderate with the meals with the highest amount of carbs, before and 2 meals after my workouts. All the other meals are fairly low carb.

I'm doing cardio about 2 days/week on the days that I dont lift, which is wed and sun. I usually do cardio first thing in the morning before I eat anything. What i need to know is what the nutrient ratio or amts should be after the cardio session?

I'm a little confused, should I continue with low carb/high protein to prevent an insulin spike or should I eat a moderate-high carb/high protein meal to help replenish my muscle glycogen stores after the cardio?

yeah, both of those choices are great, but what I want to know is should my carb intake be low after the cardio to prevent the insulin spike or should i have a moderate to high carb intake to replenish the muscle glycogen stores?

btw- I'm not on a super strict diet right now, just trying to keep meals low-moderate carb to stay lean.

for ex. after I got home today after my cardio I ate my favorite meal:

1 can tuna with mayo
1 reg. yogurt
1 string cheese

so the nutrients equal about:
- 48-50grms protein
- 45grms carbs
- 15grms fat
