What kind of cardio do you do? Treadmill... Ellipical...Bike? and also how long do you do cardio for / and how many days a week?

and anything else u wanna add would be great!

My last show (pics in my avatar and gallery), I didn't do any cardio. If I would have, I would have done 20-30 minutes of low intensity cardio as early in the AM as possible. Just to keep my metabolism high. I like the elliptical when I do cardio.

??????????????? seriously! THat's a tad too low to do much of anything, don't you think? WOn't even sweat at that rate.........I was thinking more like 65-75 for 1/2 hour......max fat burning zone, no?

I would only use it to get the metabolism going. If I'm already on a low calorie diet, I don't want to burning up muscle doing cardio. That's why I choose not to do it at all. If I were gonna do it, it would definitely be that low intensity. You gotta have a pretty tight diet though.

Much depends on what type of workout you are doing. For instance, if you are doing lots of supersets, dropsets type of weight workout...i.e...little rest time, you can probably get by with minimal cardio.

However, if you are doing more rest interval standard type training, you will more than probably need much more cardio. I have done both, and have had good luck both ways. I do hate cardio, so I opt for the short duration rest times to keep my cardio to a minimum.

Which way do you feel that you can maintain the most muscle mass?

If you can get by with it, by all means the least cardio you have to do.

I don't want to be insulting, but can any women bodybuiders or fitness competitors answer this same question?

it depends. i cut back on running (sprints) about 2 wks out because my carbs are very low & I dont want injuries. the best pre-comp cardio is stat. bike.

also- jkurz is right- most competitive bodybuilders dont run, they walk on the treadmill at a incline...

whats your speed and incline?

walk on a 12-15% incline 3.2-3.6 mph and/or climb stairs and/or elliptical... usually on an empty stomach, for a total of about an hour every morning
