That's not true. The protein in raw eggs is about 50% bio-available, wherease the protein in cooked eggs is about 90%. 8 eggs gives me about 26 grams of useable, absorbable protein. I try to get 30-40g of protein every 2-3 hours.
 
here's the breakfast concoction that I've been throwing in the blender for the past few weeks:

5 oz of water
1.5 scoops of whey protein
1/4 cup of ground raw almonds (when you get back from the grocery w/ the raw shelled almonds, throw them in the blender to grind them into a powder)
1/4 cup of the hudson mills 7 grain hot cereal grounded into a finer powder
1 tbsp organic honey - good enzymes
1 tbsp of lecithin granules

blend that into a mix, then add in 4-5 ice cubes and blend again.

The way I make it, it turns out to be around 500 calories, but you can tweak this to fit your caloric intake limits for that meal.
