Intense workouts are good ... did you take a break since the show or have you kept them consistant? Moderation has no place in my diet unless it's one cheat meal a week when I'm "cutting" or "maintaining" ...

My workouts have been the only thing that's been consistant. I tried to take a week off, but I didn't know what to do with myself. `

I really need to formulate a new game plan. Does anyone have input on that?I want to stay somewhat lean (until it gets cold and I can hide my blubber, but my goal is to add some size on my legs and shoulders.
Maybe 1800 cals?

Most of all, I need to learn how to have balance in my life, but that is something I'll probably be forever searching for.

I can totally relate to the balance issue ...

Honestly, for training, you can consider the one body part a day plan as Shadows plan encompasses & he often suggests (sorry don't mean to speak for him) I think that would be good for maintainence if you are looking for something fresh, new & gets you in the gym 5-6 days a week ... to keep the mind busy. Just tweak as needed. As for diet, 12-15 cal range for mini bulk? even up to 18? Clean bulk? Dirty Bulk?

I put size on both legs & delts, as well as lats by hitting them hard ... re: legs ... doing alot of stair work, weighted steps up, plyo's, sprints ( I didn't ever do squats really although atf can help round the booty as well :) *credit to my friend Mak* ) .. I hit alot of wide grip to pull out lats & left a day for shoulders alone these days ... Sometimes I hit chest / back, shoulders / bis & tris, and split legs for training although I do not think you have to split them .. . (hitting each twice a week) but I just did alot of experimentation & my body responded well to it as well as to change coming off the Shadow Plan. My body also likes the random Giant Set every so often :D

I do one bodypart/ wk now and I'm liking that. Got some good ideas for the legs from that, and I think I will give one day to just shoulders..I normally do them with some other bodypart. I guess I'll shoot around 2000 cals and tweak as needed. That's like 15x my bw. I'm thinking it will be a good idea to keep my foods pretty clean, since I have the tendency to say f it when I'm given an inch. OK I'm rambling....

Glad to hear you are ok & that you're still able to hit the gym - I found it was a great stress reliever for me.

Hey Badger! I'm right there with you on your goal. I'm trying to add size without increasing my bf. I find that I have to eat "mostly" clean but I give myself a NICE break on the weekends :D I'm up a few lbs pretty much the same bf. Hate to say it, but I haven't bothered with fitday for a couple of months now. What are your stats now? Is 1800 12, 13, 15, etc. x your bodyweight? I think body type matters too. Some will say it doesn't, but an endo will have a much harder time losing bf than a meso or ecto....so I really do think it counts.

Sorry to hear mom is still in the hospital, but it's good to hear she WILL be ok eventually. :heart:

I weigh 135 now (almost 15 lbs since show ;) ) so 1800 cals is like 13x my bw. I think I'm a mesomorph.
What do you do for cardio now Scorp? I was thinking like 2 or 3 20 min. pwo sessions a week? You think that's enough?

Hey you!!! Well I'm not scorp but I'm adding my own .02 cents anyways hehe...
I think if you do 3 30 min sessions a week you'd be good :) And I noticed when I switched it up and did intervals on the treadmill or on the stair stepper is when I started losing inches although maintaining weight (was adding some muscle at the same time is why :) ) Hope that helps ya some girlie ;)

A way to gage if you're a meso.....hour glass! lol I've been playing with my cardio a little bit these days, but when I was cutting I would do 3-4 20 min. HIIT sessions a week and that was just dandy! :) Since you're not cutting, I would say 2-3x a week would probably work for you.....given that your diet and training are both in check too, of course. ;)

How you doing with the post comp mental thing? ....oh yah, hide your blubber!!!! RIIIIGHT - I think NOT! lol

It's been a struggle for me to find a balance in my diet since competition dieting is over. I'm really not good at moderation, so I either go totally strict or eat like a pig. Lately it's been like every other day I switch between the two. Training has been on though. I've been super strong...workouts have been intense.
Trying to get back on track......I'll try to get around to everyone's logs.

Understand 1 billion % how you feel on your post-show feelings - I went thru all that too, it was very tough! Hang in there.....
