Its not about winning, its about going out there and giving it your all, sounds to me you did way more then that, took a step farther then pretty much anyone would in the same situation, pushed yourself to the brink, is that something to be proud of? I sure as hell think so, you will only come out of this stronger my friend, and next time you will nail it (just don't over do it too much ya big lug, world would be a wrse place without you in it) Chin up and smile, be proud
Clint, when I first started reading threads and post on this board, yours was one of the first I came across. To make a long story short it was you who inspired me to bodybuild(eventhough thats not what you do). You have inspired many people on these boards, your pics and vids are awsome.
When I started reading these boards I was a senior in highschool. Weighed in at about 145. I now weigh around 252. My entire body has changed as a result of my training. like I said, you inspired me dude. Dont change a thing.
b-fold, I have nothing but admiration for you. You busted your ass and gave it your all, and still did great despite the troubles you experienced. Thats something to be very proud of. You're the man.
you will probably realize this years from now but your not only building strength when you train and compete but also a tremendous amount of character.
not doubt you will go far in life
personal, playing sports at a high level as a youth/adult has helped me a lot in the corporate world. you compete even in a 9 to 5 and my motto is bring it on!
I'm sorry b, I've been out of town, otherwise I would have responded to this sooner.
What Night Fly wrote gave me the chills.
Yet again your heart inspires me to no end. There is no stopping you is there? I truly wish I was able to be there to see that. This is yet ANOTHER b-fold story I will take to the gym with me to share with my buddies. Do you have any idea how many people you have touched from simply sharing yourself on these boards?
You're the man my friend, continue your path and inspire the world
it's stories like these that keep me from being lazy and skipping leg or back day. the extent to which b fold pushes himself is more than inspiration to me -- it's a burning force.
