awesome recipe for tuna!

I go in spurts w/ tuna - sometiems I can deal w/ it sometimes I can't. Currently my only condiment w/ tuna, unless in a salad, is mustard. LOL! I'm sure that's a nasty thought for some, but it works for me...

I also like BBQ sauce. Muffles the taste of the tuna. If I don't have it well I know I will intake enough water that day. The second alternative is take a bite, hold it in my mouth, and take a huge gulp of water and swallow it. Ughhh I about die every time I forget the condiments with that stuff!

DIDO! I love it and then I hate it, never want to see it again , then I go back on, and can't live without it.... lol!
Try 'franks hot sauce' on it & :chomp: try it on egg whites as well yummmm ;)

watch for hidden sugar

I love tuna. I definitely load it with pepper. I'll have to try the chili powder idea. I've gotten really picky about the tuna I will eat. I noticed sometime last year that the taste of all the solid white albacore tuna (in water) changed... almost like they added something in packaging b/c the consistency of the water was different. So now I will only buy Trader Joe's no salt added tuna. It seems they haven't changed anything and I like the no salt added part.

Yeah I bought the low-carb BBQ sauce last time. I read the label as far as 2T = 15 cal, 0 g Fat, 0 g protein, and 3 g carb. I don't have the label in front of me to check the sugar but I'll look at it when I go home. I'm a sucker for hot sauce mostly. Can even mix the hot sauce with the mustard for Hot mustard. I bought some of the flavored packs of tuna, but I won't eat those all the time because they are a bit pricey over regular tuna. I usually use those to make Tuna patties with.

mmmmm. . .tuna patties. 1 can tuna, 1 egg, a little chopped onion, lots of spices, cook like a pancake, cover with mustard/horseradish. mmmmmm. i tend to lose my appetite by dinner time, but I can always slide a few tuna patties down. ;)
