yeah it sounds easy now especially if you can do it for like 15 reps, but honestly think back to your high school days, how many people were actually benching over 300 lbs, not many. I guess I should be living in Missouri, show me! i could tell you I bench pressed 600lbs for 3 over the internet and who can say its not true. Just my personal opinion, Im not a big fan of these kinds of threads. (Im sure someone will come back with "well dont read it then")
I hear what you're saying. I was the only guy in my high school (it was pretty small) that was getting a legitimate 305 when I graduated. And there is no way to be sure if someone's telling the truth, but these threads can still be fun. Really, you can't believe ANYTHING anybody on here says to be 100% fact, but this chat board is all fun and games, isn't it. I, for one, tell the truth on here, but I'm sure there are many instances where people aren't being straight up. Since it doesn't impact my real lif too much, I try not to worry about it.
Double bodyweight doesnt come close to impressing me.....unless its on a big person. But for a bodybuilder, 535 for 6 is impressive.
I'm sure if you asked on the CC board, there would be people that could go at least triple bodyweight, first thing in the morning and without coffee, for a warm up set. I'm sure you understand why I take the things said in that place with a pinch of salt.

Quite a few of us are good for a 2x bench.
I think there as almost as many on the CC Board as the Anabolic Board.
