Ass to the floor squats

After working my upper body to the point of annilation(?)I decided to incorperate some squats into my routine.
Did them yesterday, and all I can say is WoW! My ass feels like it
is sticking out way more than usual, my legs are so sore that it hurts like a bitch to get out of my truck. Do you guys get this sore everytime you squat? I was going to work chest today but my whole body feels overtrained and exosted.

What do you guys work the same day with legs?
 
Squats hurt the most when you first start doing them because your leg muscles are completely unaccustomed to the movement. You'll likely be sore for a few days.

Not sure I understand your question, but legs should normally be done on their own day.
 
I still get a bit sore from time to time, but it only lasts like 1/2 a day.

Legs are an intense workout, many large muscles.

If you are doing legs properly, you just wont have enough energy to properly train another large muscle group.
 
I second gymtime. when you first start squatting (correctly) you will feel it in places you forgot yu had. Legs need a day to themselves, half your body bro...keep at em.

I would recommend full squats to anyone who has no knee or back problems.

My legs were lagging behind my upper body but a few years of balls to the wall deep squats made them probably my best bodypart.

Ass to the floor, done with proper form will build a ass on you that the ladies will love. My avatar shows what deep squating for 11 years or so did for me.

Shit if I squatted for 11 years I may well have legs that would rival Platts and Victor Richards! My legs are too big for my body and my ass is already round, they were already 25 inches before I even started weight training, that's genetics for ya! :(

Im 5'9" so they're quite large on my small frame

And I can't stop squatting now since I need 3 times bodyweight leg strength, I'll have to make do with 3 rep squats :)

Well today I did squats, alongside with my snatches, and my whole upper body. But on my normal squat day I usually only do hang jump snatches, vertical jumps, back squat, front squat, deadlift, reverse lunge, calf raise, toe raise, and reverse hypers.
I'm dead after that lot :)
