Are you new to the EF Women's Board? START HERE!

First off, you can put your log on here if you want to. Maybe you can talk about your mistakes and discoveries along the way to your weight loss. Diet advise and mistakes are important here.....You could compare WW to what you are now eating. You could also write about how amazing your trainer is..LOL

You could talk about how anafits supps are working for you. It is endless. Most of the thousands of people on here don't compete either, they are just learning.

You have a lot to offer, don't be shy or intimidated. Just by the last couple of says looking at this board, it seems the women are really great and helpful here....way more than other boards I have seen.

Keep it up T-cake. You are doing great.

The point of logs are just like journaling - its a place to keep track of day to day changes as well as an outlet when you need to vent or give yourself mad props because you made a new personal best on the treadmill or whatever. I don't often keep a diet journal but I have almost always kept a written log of my training stuff.

^^^ yeah what she said.

Loved your 40 mistakes post btw Funny stuff
First thing I have ever read on that board.

So I guess my question is... what can I possibly post about aside from reading up on others' logs? It's cool for me to READ -- but where would I contribute?! :) I just like to be helpful! Ugh -- maybe I still do have an inferiority complex here... LOL. :qt:

I know... I'm just being goofy, I'm sure.
Well, that's the beauty of it, T-Cake! You may not think you have anything to contribute, but you WILL inspire someone in ways that you may not know. They may tell you, or they may not; but simply BEING here and POSTING helps people in many ways. New ideas, new information....just everyday events that happen to you!

So start a log! :twirl:

And to the other two girls I have not addressed.....WELCOME TO EF!!!

Thank you Scorpiogirl!
T-Cake, anyone who has lost 85 pounds IS an inspiration already. I think it'll be fun watching you count down to the rest of your goal. Just as it is with all the others here. Because of your knowledge of chemistry and a degree in human biology you're a cinch as far as I'm concerned. I can post questions for you to answer instead looking for macro's cell all the time. :)

Love it -- very true. My little teacher instincts check in and I am pretty good at answering questions -- I'll be the first (or second) to admit I'm totally lost, though, too. Thank you Ulter/curgeo/Sassy/Scorpio. All very valid points. :)

Since I'm here, I thought I'd share that I'm leaving to go to FL tomorrow and while at the store trying on bathing suits... I stretched or something and did a MAJOR double take because my arms were like 'pow'. I thought I'd really lost it... but then I remembered that I work my effin' butt off and hey -- I'm reaping the benefits. Pretty cool! Sooner or later I'm going to start knockin' kids out at school for mouthin' off to me!

And I'll add a story or two too: Today, one of my kids (as in high school students) joked with me today about fighting me after school; put his dukes up and tried butterfly shuffle... TRIPPED over his own feet. I said, "You can't even balance yourself; how are you planning to manage that AND takin' me down?!" It was cute. Pretty neat being thought of as the tough teacher chick of the building. The other cooler thing is my anatomy students are learning all the muscle groups right now...

*evil laughter* Ohhh... they be sorrrrrrrrreeee some days! Although I have to say that taking on a muscle group every day and showing proper form and making them name the muscles is really really helping them to learn the material faster. Fascinating; love it. They are BEGGING me to take them to the gym... "We want to do what YOU do." I told them they'd pass out and die and I'm not down with liability.

Ok I'm done. :) Story time's over, kids! <Ha, I really do need a log to just post my mindless chatter if anything!>

That is just freekin cool T! You might check if hoteacher can stop by - she rips up so well she's probably a better muscle map than the stuff in Gray's Anatomy! Its just fascinating when you see what's goign on underneath your skin isn't it? Man, the first time I saw a bicep peak I almost fell over. I have a ways to cut thru the current layer of bodyfat, but I'm enjoying watching teh different heads of each muscle start coming out. And just to be a dork because I'm one of the very few muscle heads in my gym, I'll do a quick pose in the mirror to see how its all coming out.... and then peek around to see who may have seen.... :verygood:

Love the stories!!! :) You really SHOULD start a log! :)

Sassy.....I've found myself WANTING to do that every day at the gym. So far, I've only done it once or twice. Fun stuff!!! :)
