Are there any entry-level home based businesses that are worth a shit?

They're advertised all over the internet. Most of them are scams, I know this without having to be told because people suck. Does anyone know of any that actually work? I need to be able to travel back and forth at will.

There are "home-based jobs" but they're illegal!! (Drug dealer, Pimp, etc.)

Yeah, they want you to invest 5,000 of your own money to get started. Bet you couldn't earn it back in the entire year. I hate scam artists. Really hate them with a passion.

The BBB has a list of companies that do these scams.

The best "work-at-home" opportunities are those in which your boss agrees that your job could be done @ home therefore saving the company money. This editor here at work moved to Indiana but continued to commute to downtown CHI for work; her boss decided that working from home is great for everyone involved. She's here whenever she really NEEDS to be here...otherwise, she's at home - the envy of many!
