Are lots of carbs neccessary for growth, even on gear?

I was wondering if you needed the insulin from carbs to grow thoughtout the day. I wanted to know this because, insulin is very anabolic an i have read that you will not grow without any insulin in your body.

I wanted to know because i wanted to eat carbs only after my workouts to replenish my muscles, and have the rest of my meals protien and fat only. I will be on anavar, so i wanted to know if my muscles will be growing when eating only a fat protein meal.

The main question is, will the gear take care of the anabolism, even with low insulin circulating in your body?

I know that carbs=Growth. The question I was asking was, that if your muscle glycogen stores are full, and you are eating protien and fat, will your muscles be growing? How about if you are on gear?

If your muscle glycogen stores are full, no eating additional carbs will not yield additional growth.

Thanx BBF, but I was wondering, I know there are alot of variables, but how many carbs would one need to consume to refil glycogen stores, PWO. For instance if I just finished a intense workout of 12 working sets on chest. What would be the best way to replenish the Glycogen stores.

...read up on CKD...or another low carb/carb up diet. I've heard of some that do "carb-ups" right after workouts...but I forget the name of it.

Training depletes muscle glycogen stores. Best way to replenish is to eat a meal (high protein, moderate clean carb, low clean fat shortly after the workout.

Disagree. Protein yes, but eat a fast carb (I use dextrose) immedaitly after and then some slow carbs later (oats).

I've always had great success cutting with var and have fouund that I needed few carbs besides those in my post workout shake. Var and fina are the only two that have allowed me to grow on a low carb diet.
