Are any of you training with current injuries?

I have to train around a torn ACL in my right knee and a torn PCL in my left knee (damn rugby). Sometimes they are fine, other times they feel really unstable and rubbery.

Dead lifts and squats can be trouble.

An old left shoulder injury (3 years) from my swimming days - it left for a while and tends to come back every now and then. I still train my shoulders though. just not as intensely as I would normally - thinking about seeing a specialist about it when I m off this cycle.
My bench does not suffer from it at all. :)

Have tendonitis in both biceps and in both elbows/triceps. :(

Te elbow pain comes and goes but the bicep pain vever seems to leave. :bawling:

Just had a bankart repair and rotator cuff repair on my shoulder. Have a herniated disk between L5-S1.

Hey, el cubano, I have the same injury:

what advice/treatment were you given and how long ago did you have the original injury?

Thanks bro!

Torn rotator cuff (getting my third shot of cortisone in two months this friday) and will eventually have surgery on that. At the same time the doctor is going to shave part of my bone because he said that the bone will eventually tear the tendon it is pressing on. I have problems (still) with my right knee that I had surgery on (torn acl and mcl). Oh well, life goes on and I refuse to get smaller!!! hehehehehe

Just starting back after arthroscopic surgey on my rt shoulder (torn Lebrun) its been a real bitch as I want to jump right back in and i cant.... just finished phs therapy......and starting with absurdly light wieghts just drives me crazy... UGH

Had reconstructive knee surgury in January, and a scope of the same knee last week to remove scar tissue and re-allign the cap. I am laying off leg extentions 100% as they are useless and painful. Sticking to presses & light squats. Upper body is still strong and cardio is tough now. Hope to be back on track in a few weeks.
