This is so true. While not all homophobes have homosexual tendencies, plenty of others are trying to compensate for something.

You're completely wrong. Homosexual behaviour is witnessed in most animals. The sexual behaviour of manatees is primarily homosexual with only brief periods of heterosexual activity around mating time.

There are too many christians and conservatives on this site who are DETERMINED to believe that homosexuality is an illness/perversion/whatever.

Their opinions are ideologically motivated so there is basically nothing you can do to change their minds. They won't let anything as inconvenient as hard evidence get in the way of what the want (need) to believe.
