I talked to him briefly at the meet this past weekend. He said he quit competing about 5 years ago and had done a 2300 lb meet. He still looked massive. Super nice guy.
i trained in the same gym as Curtis when I lived in Atlanta, GA.... Coffee's.
He is and always WAS friggin' huge. Funny, I don't remember any 2300 lb total, but that is just me. He seemed to leave the scene at about the time of the rise of Chuck Vogelpohl.
