Anyone here ever get sick drinking raw eggs?

So I woke up too late to make breakfast, so I decided the best thing to do was drink down 8 eggs. I decided it was a great idea after doing it, and will probably continue to have raw eggs often. So anyways, has anyone here ever gotten sick drinking raw eggs (I don't mean vomiting, but salmonella)? I know the odds are very very slim of getting salmonella poisoning, but I figured I'd ask anyways.

Also, should I only buy pasteurized eggs if I want to have them raw?

A couple of years ago I got a severe nasty case of bacterial infection from raw eggs,I think salmonella, took 6 months of antibiotics to clear.
I am drinking raw eggs again. I put some lemon juice & salt & wait a minute. so far....

The eggs i use are from salmonella vaccinated chickens so i never worry about that (even though they're the cheapest eggs i can buy, so i probably shouldn't trust the packaging) Its just a case of whether i can down 6 raw eggs first thing in the morning if im not hungry enough to eat an omlette.

the salmonella is on the shell, not inside. i keep my own laying hens and they have not had any shots. i just wash the shells as i bring them in. just use an antibac. soap if you are worried.

dont they sell pasteurized egg whites in cartons? im nearly certain they do.

there are tons of options for whites but none for whole eggs. kind of sucks. either way i bet the fresh eggs are of better quality any way.
