anyone ever eat junk food?

Ive been training seriously for the last 2 weeks and i had my first type of junk food yesterday (a chocolate biscuit) :)
When bulking does anyone here ever eat junkfood? Or do you always stick to your diet directly.?
 
today was a cheat day i guess


started day good
AM -WORKOUT-empty stomach
Meal1-Protein shake 40protein and carbs

Meal2turkey sandwich 30mins later i felt the urge to eat crappy,ate clean all week ........ so went to BK got me a bk sandwich and chicken tenders ,2peacan danish,1lemon danish,1herseys chocolate muffin,1nathans cheese fries,1doukin donuts bostom cream

meal3-bagel with cream cheese,chiese food just ate the chicken basically skipped the rice..........

didn't eat anymore felt somewha stuffed ,tommorow back to eating clean,next cheat day next friday.........HOPE IT WONT BE CRAZY AS TODAY cheat DAY
 
i tend to eat alot of fast food (mainly chicken nuggets and beef with broccoli). That doesnt seem to hurt me too much. However, i have no junk food in my apartment. But whenever i go to friends houses they have tons and i just eat all of theirs. So i try to avoid my friends houses.

Whenever i get married and my wife buys junk food i will be in big trouble.
 
When I cheat, it's usually just carbs.... I don't generally eat too much fattening stuff. Mainly just HEAPS of bread, noodles and whatever.... but the amount of that stuff that I eat, it's probably worse than having pizza or MacDonalds.

i figure dam :/ if i break a day i might as well finish the whole day and start clea the next day.....but weekends i usually cheat alot.....home alot sleeping and watching tv..........weekdays more active goback on daily weekly high protein low carb diet... but right now i am somewha bulking.......
 
yesterday:

8 apples
4 mc cheeseburgers
1 box of ironman mint bars
2 sam adams beers
1 pint phish food ben and jerrys

today:
1/2 gallon ice cream
2 tubs cool whip
4 apples
2 bags bbq chips
1 avacodo dip


yeah i eat junk food, expecially when im depressed
 
I have also been wondering this
how often can one cheat on a bulking diet?
i know that one day a week is fine on a cutting diet basically from my experience this summer. i lost a large amount of weight and kept abs visible while eating loads of ice cream every sunday
i want to gain clean weight now, thats why i am bulking, but i still want to eat ice cream every now and then. i eat 6 meals a day of clean food, but i still want to cheat every once and awhile too.

i should also add that i am an extremely easy gainer, so dont just tell me to eat whatever i want because i am bulking

When ever I cheat its always w/ Icecream always 2 half gallon cartons and always mixed w/ peanutbutter. Or its cherryicecream w/ fluff and bannas.

Nothing else appeals to me anymore if you don't eat it in a long time you don't feel the need to eat it. Since I do eat Icecream fairly frequently I get cravings for it badly. I make my self jog to the store to get it though lil over 3 mi. round trip. Not too far but I often make the stupid mistake to go the same night I had legday and I can barely make it back.
 
My worse cheat day:
1 Box of Cocoa Krispies
1/2 Gallon of Milk
1 bag of FritoLays Curly BBQ Corn Chip
~50 Laxatives
2 Rolls of TP
1 Post-It with writing "DON'T CHEAT AGAIN"

:D, I don't know about you guys but eatting a bunch of junk after being on a clean diet for along time really gives me the cramps. I wish I could eat like some of you guys.

Cocoa Krispies = the true breakfast of champions! I don't cheat without them!!

so how often do you guys cheat while bulking and with what foods? i know that one day a week is fine on a cutting diet, but not if you are close to a competition, which i dont need to worry about.
i am bulking now and want to gain some serious mass. i know gaining fat will come but i dont want to become a fatass again. i just want to splurge in some ice cream every once and awhile, i mean i've been bulking for about a month now and not touched any junk food, just been piling in clean calories. i have not had one cheat meal yet, but ice cream cravings are really kicking in.
its strange that i was able to eat a gallon of ice cream along with pizza after pizza and tons of other junk each sunday all summer while keeping six pack, but now while bulking i am scared to do so, mainly due to all of the calories i consume now each day of the week
can i still splurge in the ice cream once a week, if i bulk on clean calories the rest of the week??

Aaaah, the wonderous beauty of a cheat day. My cheat day is scheduled for Nov 23, or 38 days. I haven't cheated on my diet and i'm on day 30 right now, Ugh.

Back in the day when I allowed myself a weekly cheat day, a typical day would consist of this:

Breakfast:
go to IHop-Huge Meat/cheese omlette
- side of pancakes
-biscuits and gravy
- carafe of orange juice

Snack:
20 chocolate chip cookies and milk

Lunch:
Go to Bennigans:
Order a Monte Cristo(fried turkey/cheese sandwich served with powdered sugar and a side of rasberry jam) and Fries
2 Shiner Bock Beers

Snack:
ICe Cream

Dinner:
Family Size order of Chili Cheese Dogs and fries.
It totaled 6 chili cheese dogs, 3 french fries and 2 soft drinks.
And yes, i would finish it all.

Snack:
Pint of Chocolate and Peanut butter Ice Cream for Baskin and Robbins.


Those were the days.

I remember one time when i was trying to bulk
i ordered a monte cristo
a burger meal
and a chicken salad there

it came to over 20 bux

I actually didn't njoy the food very much
cuz i was in a hurry to eat it all!

i couldn't i had meals for the next couple of days

i ate like half of each meal when i bought em
 
The only time i fuck up is...

Okay.. i see like a bag of cheetos... i take "one cheeto" thinking "this won't hurt me, or screw up anything".... after I eat that... i feel guilty that my diet isn't "perfect" anymore...so i'm like..ok ok i already fucked up, now i can just say fuck this day and eat anything i want.

Bottom line: Do not eat AnyJunk food while on a diet.
 
Wow I had to reply, thats what you guys call cheat days ? If this is your club I am your president.

Man I got problems because I go all out once a week and not just any cheat day will do. During the week I write down everything I crave and throw it a small box (I see a commercial of a new burger out I want, every time I see that girl licking her ice cream, anything I pass up because of bodybuilding) What ever the case may be.

Saturday morning the hunt begins I grab the box and look at all my cravings no to decide but just to remind me......

My cheat days can include ( A lot of peanut butter, all types of chocolate candy bars (new snickers, bigkitkats, nutrageous, watchamacalits, m&ms all kinds, crazy ice cream flavors, krispy creams, Chinese buffets, hooters buffalo wings, mc donalds breakfast(s), denny's grand slam(s), popye's chicken, and you can't forget the beer all that is optional if I go out clubbing at night then jack in da box when I come home cause its all thats open at 3:00 of the time its all the above, I might miss a few here and there because of various reasons mostly damn storage capacity is full. You think I have an eating disorder ? LoL I do. Did I forget the peanut butter ?

Most my cheat days I call a bunch of friends up and make em come with me and eat at selected restaurants so I meet with a lot of people on Saturdays lol. You know what's ironic 4 years ago at age 17 I was a major fat ass and rarely ate, I had to go down from a 42 inch waist to a 34 inch waist to become a pig.

Hey if any of you guys are like me...... wouldn't mind hearing some more of your food choices for cheat days I will start putting em in my box lol.
 
so are you guys saying that its ok to eat say... 4 qts of ice cream, a medium pizza and some cookies once a week if the rest of the week youre eating clean? right now im on a cutting diet macs are: fat: 70g, carbs 35g, protein 266g. adding a cheat day at day seven will not affect my fat burning process?
 
I think it will affect the fat burning process. Thats why i said i don't do that anymore. I have a cheat day planned out for Thanksgiving but I have yet to cheat on my diet.

I think it would be ok for you to have maybe a cheat meal but a whole cheat day totally fucked up my body's fat burning process.
 
I'm a pizza lover, when not dieting I eat it once a week. I do two week diet "sprints" so cheating isn't much of an issue on such a short diet. Otherwise I eat fairly clean except for the occasional night of drinking and post drinking Taco Bell.:D
 
As others have said a few cheat meals here and there will not hurt you if you eat clean most of the time.I suppose it all comes down to how committed you really are.
