Hey bud, if your nana is having joint-related issues, she can try any of the following:
ginger / turmeric (strong natural anti-inflammatories)
MSM (potent, but expensive)
Glucosmaine / Chondroitin
White Willow Bark (contains salycin, related to aspirin)
Boswellia (Ayurvedic herb)

Glucosamine and chondroitin (sp) is the only nat supp I know of. All the best sript ones are now suspect of causing heart attacks. But give the glucosamine a try, I started taking it years ago due to a back injury and now will take it forever or until somehting better becomes available

I would rate MSM as being one of the better natural supps right up there with glucosamine/chondroitin.

I'm an old person and can relate.

I have not found any natural supplement that made me say Wow! - the pain is gone. And I've taken them all.

Any steroid that causes water retention really helps. dbol for example. In the 70's people took ana ... again real low dose ... 1 mg This may give her masculine characteristics, but I doubt it.

The cox 2 inhibitors bring relief. The people harmed had other problems to begin with and took big doses. I think Celebrix is still available.

I take tramadol .... very low dosage.

hey bilter,
where do you get your glucosamine from? (brand?)

Decca, just kidding. Glucosamine probably the best, but doesnt kick-in for about 2 months, and it is expensive.
