Maybe you've tried this, but go all-natural (i.e. no drugs whatsoever, pain killers, sleeping aids, prozac etc) for a while, and see what happens. Just eat properly, and exercise (weights and perhaps running to get naturally exhausted). This should help if you have trouble sleeping. Just let your body re-balance itself and flush out any lingering chemicals.
Try it for one or two months, and see if you can regain control. If you feel much better then, maybe re-introduce some AS in moderate dosages, and re-evaluate. I don't know how old you are, but I am sure there's plenty of time for you with the AS.
Just take one step at a time, and try to isolate what could be causing your problem.
