ok... I have already completed the test for the NESTA certification... but have questions on others now.

Thing is, I might be doing PT for a while because of various problems I'm having getting the correct attorney position. I can't think of something better I'd want to do in the meantime (by meantime it could be up to or longer than a year).

I'm finding that people I know don't really KNOW about NESTA... Their headquarters is like 30 minutes away from me in Rancho Margarita, CA... so they may be more accepted out here.

I'm looking into ISSA, for credential purposes, I'm looking for input from some members with some knowledge on this subject?

ISSA will take you forever to complete because it is very comprehensive. (working on it) backed by some solid individuals. dr. squat hatfield, tom platz, etc.

NSCA is very general but good (have it.) not too difficult.

NASM is a good one if you are into biomechanics, assessment and core stability. very big on functional training and integrating different types of exercises for a well rounded program. program design is the main focus and corrective exercise. (have it) they do their certs at their hq in calabassas ca. there is one in 2 weeks. www.nasm.org very interesting.

ACE is an easy one to get but you have to find the tests. usually at UCLA.

ACSM
NSCA-CSCS
NASM-PES
are all degreed advanced certs.
