hi quick question , is 4 androstendiol anabolic on its own before conversion, liek lets say u take androdiol and some of it doesnt turn to test is that unconverted andro still anabolic?

It does not cause the amount of water retention per unit muscle gains that testosterone does, so it either has anabolic activity on its own, or it acts as an anti-estrogen.

cause i read somewhere before conversion its 90 percent as anabolic as test 110 times more androgenic

I believe in rat levator(sp) studies, the same used for 1-AD's comparison to test, 4-AD was found to be 90% or 95% as anabolic as test. Some have questioned the studies validity because of the rat model used.

I believe they used an injectable version of 4-AD in those tests that is how they got that 90% figure. I read this on another post where someone was comparing 4-AD to Test.

That is why the study is inaccurate-there is no OTC injectable 4-AD and if you are creating it on your own w/some type of kit, you might as well just buy the real deal. Its nothing for some biochemistry students to create injectable 4-AD for an experiment-they have access to everything they'd need as far as supplies etc...

You can deliver enough 4-AD via transdermal administration to produce a clear ceiling on its effects, so, in this case, the use of an injectable in the study is not an issue.

You are quite correct that the data is not perfectly applicable to real world usage -- just for the wrong reason. The reason is because levator ani studies are flawed.

And, of course, the "110 TIMES" figure is incorrect -- it was found 120 PERCENT as androgenic.

Duh-I should've known that. I am using Ergopharm Androspray now (which is Androdiol not 4-AD). Which leads me to this question what is the difference between 4-AD and androdiol?

They are different names for the same thing.
