AND the best protein is...........?

I recomend beef as your primary protien source between "meals" (you should be eating 6-10 of those a day).

Mct oil = medium chain triglycerides, which has certain benefits depending on one's diet, but given the choice I would go with flax seed oil, hands down. Anyone who suggest that MCT would be better for while cutting, or trying to gain muscle, or even for general health does not have a leg to stand on.

Ok.....X...I know you loveeeeeeee protein factory, but I need an emergency fix (ran out) and need a SOLID pre-train protein.......EAS, Prolab? eas is good, optimum is good too
A solid Egg and Casein protein? Maybe a little whey? go to your local nutrition store, you'll pick something up that will be comparable to what you need

You have to understand how MCT oil functions vs. EFA (linolenic and lenoleic acids) related oils differ in their basic functions. MCT offers a fast conversion to ketones (which the body can use in lieu of glucose); thus, it makes MCTs an ideal fast energy source, especially on low-carb diets where energy and stamina are always an issue. Therefore, there is a leg to stand on, it's just the lack of understanding that makes it seem otherwise.
