An all-weather Heavy Bag?

Is there such a thing?

I'd like to put it on the balcony of my apartment and do muay thai work out there through the year and not have to worry about rain/snow messing it up.

Any suggestions?

Yes take it down when not using. Proper storage of a heavy bag is to b laid on side when not in use

Really? The gyms I've been at perpetually have them suspended.

But just bringing the bag indoors isn't such a bad idea. I guess I just need a rack to hang it from that can be all weather.

When u leave it hanging the filling eventually packs down inside the bottom and makes the bag hard as a rock. Thats how i fractured my hand 10 yrs ago. Never took bag down at home one day goin at it hard for five min straight threw an uppercut style gut shot at the bag and it was like hitting concrete and crunch.

Bro:

leather beats anything out there. so for longevity go with a leather outer lining not cloth like canvas

Bags like the century wavemaster have a base you fill with water or sand then an adjustable top. They're pretty stable when filled and you can remove the bag and store inside when not in use
