This feels like my training journal, I like it
Today was a high volume day for me: Bench Press 4 sets, flys 3 sets (I wanted to stretch my pecs out), Pulldowns 4 sets, One arm db row 4 sets, HIGH incline db press 3 sets, lateral raises 3 sets (nothing heavy, just nice and light), 3 sets of curls and 3 sets of dips.
Everything went up. My bench went up 10lbs and I got 9 reps with it. Bent over db row went great too. I was into the groove of it all and I couldn't stop. I went over 10 reps for all sets of this and it was as if I didn't realize it. One thing I love about Amplify is how I don't ever have any 'doubts' in my mind. If I load up the bar and get ready, I don't ever think "I can probably get about 6 reps with this" NOPE! I KNOW I'll do the 6 and a whole lot more.
I was drained and sweating my ass off. The pumps are getting painful, really skin bursting. When I got to the rows, by the 2nd set my arms were so pumped and full of blood that it felt like I had done 20 sets of curls. I don't want to mention how pumped my back felt. I don't train for a pump, I train for progress on compound lifts and gaining mass but damn it's a nice bonus, really nice.
My endurance keeps getting better and better. My workouts take less time but I'm lifting MORE. I haven't went near the scale, not for another week. I will say this though, I look much fuller and harder. I wouldn't be shocked if I had gained 5lbs or so.
