currently I get about 80 grams of protein/ day from whey, and 60 from milk. the other 110 come from food.

how much better would it be to consume more protein from food, or would it even make a diff. Im 200 lbs

Eh, the way i see it, protein is protein wether it's coming from whole food or not. Unless there's some study out there proving whole food is indeed better. it's all the same molecular makeup, Just different in presentation. Unless anyone want's to prove to me otherwise.

Biggest diff is that liquid digests far faster than solids, leaving the body w/little or no amino acids to pull from.

thanks for the responses
is there a big differnce ?? I generally eat food w/ the shakes.

my shakes are generally first thing in the morning, post workout, and before bed I drink a litre of milk. w/ some whey

the food is in between, so would this be sufficient to "pull " protein when its needed
