dope in the parking lot got a good side view look at the gun. At first I thought it was a .38 special snub nosed because it looked and sounded like the one I have - except it was stainless steel. I sent pictures to my training partners father who has a Charter Arms Stainless Bulldog .44 special snubby and I'm now convinced that's what bite me. The doctors left the bullet in me saying it would cause more damage to remove it so I'm not likely to now for sure, but I now have a .44 special lead HP round (200 grains) that fit into the hole like a piece of a puzzle.
