All-round training vs separate muscle groups

What kind of training you think is most effective, orgood for overall conditioning? Is it ok to do all round trainingseveryday (one exercises for each muscle group), or it would be bestto focus on a particular muscle group on each day?

It is best to do it all!

I think it is very important when guys start off training to master the compound lifts. I highly recommend a 5x5 program like Stronglifts.

It will depend on your goals as well. A powerlifter is going to train differently than a bodybuilder.

I think that variety in the end is the best. I would not be doing a lot of isolation movements until you are more advanced and have the compound movements down.

The best thing would be to try all of these approaches for a week each, and see which one works best for you. The thing is that everyone responds differently to the same exercises and training approaches, so you got to find out what works best for you.

I like to follow all of these approaches, just switching them every now and then.

It depends on how advanced you are.

If you are a new lifter, I recommend starting off doing full body workouts 3x per week. Focus on the big compound lifts and learning proper form. Squats, deadlifts, overhead press, bent over rows etc.

Once you get more advanced, you are going to need to do more volume per workout to make the muscle respond. Then I would split up your body into 2-3 days. One of my favourite workout splits is
1. legs abs
2. chest shoulder triceps
3. back biceps
4. off
repeat
