I just started going to the gym after a loooong break. I did my leg workout yesterday and woke up with my legs being quite sore.
I was wondering if I should then avoid doing any cardio training today (which is mainly on a running machine).

Please Help

After a leg workout I wouldnt do any running ..Wait at least 48 hours till resume any sort of running....I run 3-4 times a week, 3 miles or more, but I never run after my leg day!

I would do active rest. I usually walk at 3.3 miles per hour on a steep incline for 10 to 15 minutes. The next day most if not all my soreness is gone.

I would also do some sort of active recovery. I wouldnt run because that is risking injury, use something like an elliptical trainer. Just go on it for an easy 10-15 minutes and you will get some blood flowing. Make sure you do some stretching also because that should help.

How would you be risking injury running?
