i'm not an expert but i dont think it takes one to answer this
big meals before a workout will draw blood out of your muscles and into your stomach to help breakdown & digest your meal, this is not what you want
I usually hit a shake about 1hour andhalf before mine, then a MRP or something immediately after and about an hour later I eat proper food inthe form of rice and chicken etc
light headidnessmeans lack of carbs and/or dehydration
make sure you drink plenty of water before and during your workout too!!
