Happy Sunday everyone!!! I spent all morning & early afternoon cleaning & cooking. Got to start kitchen last night then again this morning, vacuum, mopped all ceramic floors… etc. Both bathrooms are spotless, I am so proud of myself. The two bedrooms still need some work :rolleyes:. Looks like I’m going to push Leg day II until tomorrow morning. I am going to hit the couch & chill the rest of the day, I am BEAT. The day of rest will def. help after hitting it hard last 3 days in a row. Enjoy what’s left of the Day!!! :heart:

Thank you AL! I am proud I am squatting over 100 front & back too! LOL ... GM's :rolleyes: I prefer doing these with the old weighted straight bars my gym had, they replaced them with the preweighted EZ Bar Curls which SUCK IMO.

Lying = Prone = Face down (Prone is opposite of Supine is face up, or on your back)

They have seated ham curls & Single Leg Standing too, but I try not to leave the weight room if at all possible to hit those machines on the floor.

Thank you for the kudos, made me feel better today. :) If I bump up the weight I fear I will stall of Good Morning the weight up lol :D We shall see .. Godsmack helped a little hahahah

I haven't gone back for Acu but I may to keep my energy pathways 'clear' ... I really believe in energy blocks & much to the CMT principles but haven't been able to pursue the Acu as much as I would have like. I START yoga/pilates stuff wed though!!! YAY, I'm excited, new stuff :D Oh, and I was NEVER a napper. Now I just always wanna sleep ... or relax, lay down, chill ...

Anywoooooo, thanks for droppingin! Lets the some pics gf! I'm sure you look fabulous! My pics & updated mm's will be Wednesday if my girl emails me back saying she can hook it up :)
 
I hear ya on stalling out if you go too heavy on Squats. Maybe a tad more rest would make it better - between sets I mean.

Either way I think you will be pushing 135 through the ceiling by the end of Sept. After the show if you still think you want to push this lift you may want to try doing back squats 2x a week and fronts once. I would never tell a woman that has had ropes showing on her hip bones what to do as you obviously know way more than me - but I just love squatting and getting stronger at it....and training the lift instead of the muscle helped me get a lot stronger.

As the weeks went on and on I noticed I had to nap.. sometimes twice a day... You have to allow for it or I personally would just crash and then the brain shuts down... and well... You'll be fine.
Caught up on some of your log. I'll have to see what is going on at work when I get back and I'll let u know if I can go to the show or not!!
All I can say is at this point in the game with dieting down u cant stress about what is underdeveloped on your body. Actually u cant stress about a lot of things because then it will be more difficult for the weight to come off with cortisol levels rising. Mentally though I would start prepping yourself.... U never know what one judge will think compared to another judge. My scores were all over the place... So you have to tell yourself that u did everthing u could do and just know that u did your best and again it is another starting point. It shouldn't matter especially on the first show what u place. I think the goal should be just being on stage and knowing most people would never attempt that. If you place then that's just bonus points. I think most here agree that you have a great physique and should get first, but just realize we are not the final judge. So prep your head for taking first but always keep the thought that its o.k. to even be last. Or else I know I would have been really screwed up. I look at my placing as a great starting point to only improve off of. Another way to look at it as compare pictures over the past two years' and show yourself how much work you have done to improve yourself. Be your own competitor. I think if you always try to top the last thing u did in the end u will always come out ahead then those always trying to beat out another person... O.k. my 2 cents over :)

Good info Treil!!! Acu has me very interested, and I'll keep reading to see how the massage and yoga/pilates helps in the areas of engery/focus/mental health....

LOL, cute lol ... :)

Trust me, I am enjoying the bumps in strength,esp when cutting & losing bodyfat, but I need to check myself constantly. I am NOT sure I will try 2 plates until after my show since that is my #1 focus right now. Even today, I lowered my weights I focused on eccentric holds & tempo rather than repping out some PRs. Squatting 2 X is tough as is lol something to think about if I ever want to increase that lift. :)

Thanks jp. I got my hair cut in the 7th grade and the lady butchered it, so since then, I NEVER cut it, other than a trim until I was like 21 I think. Even the 7 1/2 inches that was taken off was NOTHING b/c my hair was down to my butt. I cut it twice before I shaved it, buzzed RIGHT down the middle first too, ala reverse mohawk style.. it was AWESOME :D If I decide to donate this head of hair I cannot color or dye it.. it's going to be hard to let go of it that's for sure, and yes I probably would shave it again. Decisions Decisions.

I am (just shy of) 3% BF down from the start date , so after two weeks, I'll take it. Just lets me KINDA know things are 'working' .. we'll see if you can tell by the pics later, and everyone, if you cannot, please tell me .. I need your eyes here, my mirrors are playing tricks on me, and the lighting on this pale skin is no help. I may get some spray tans to help. Time to FEED!!! :chomp:

Looks like it is all coming together - no supprises here. I think the YPT is only going to get tougher at first - like anything new. You will be working body parts that you are not used to working - at least not in that manner. My wifey is a big pilates gal. Her muscles are all longer now - which to me makes her uperbody look very muscular and very pretty. Not much leg work done IMO. She stopped weight training and opted for pilates which I rib her for daily, but she seems to really enjoy the mental aspect of it as much as the physical.

I have tried everything, that is safe of course. Can't use any lotions like that when I get Fantasy Tan (an actual airbrusher sprays you, dries you, then powders you down, not those silly self spray booths). I was not impressed by the lotion itself. Thank you for the suggestion :)

I personally like Dove Energy Glow moisturizer when I go the sunless route. It's not as stinky or orange. :) I'll PM ya with a pic if you wanna see what the color looked like on me after 3 weeks.

Ya'll are a piece of work you know that? lol The lighting is terrible, I looked nekkid (i fixed that) & IMO they are not the best representation of my legs. Then again, pics never do me justice. Go back & look now ... Sheesh .. BRATS!

Thank you jp. Actually I am trying to stand & flare my lats out, so it can be thought of as a pose like the figure girls do, but not the 'real pose'... My delts look FLAT to me. I prefer the double bi shot where you can see my ant delts pops up like HELLO, but I chose figure NOT BB so I'm dealing with it.

I slept in today. Had a few emotional roller coaster days UGH. I was up at 4, showered, then went back to bed. I need to eat & get my butt to work. I need a few days to try & sort things out.

I posted this on the other thread too but ...

Today is def. a low day ... I talked to my best friend last night & I knew his wedding was coming up, we have BOTH been so dang busy .... for those that followed my log, he is the one going to Italy for two weeks for his honeymoon ...Well GUESS when his wedding is...

Yup the day of my show... I may as well be standing up on his side kinda thing so I am really pretty upset about it & not sure what I am going to do. (No time to explain why some people in both families would object to that but you get my drift)

I need some time to think. Have a great weekend everyone if I'm not back right away. :rose:

Awwe shucks. Well, this is probably not what you want to hear, but he will only have one wedding (hopefully) and there will be plenty more shows. On the other hand, I have missed several of my close friends' weddings, and there were never any hard feelings. Let us know what you decide to do. :) :heart: :rose:
 
listen...you been though alot in life...and i think you have learned first hand life is a gift and to make each day count. i always tell my fiance to do what she wants b/c she is constantly getting forced into things she doesn't want to do. i do what i want...i'm not a selfish sob but if you feel you need to do this show and skip the wedding well then that is what you should do. there ius no right or wrong here i think..... :heart:
