Morning Girl! :) I MUST sleep on my back or else I cannot fall asleep :D

Last week my 1st attempt at front squats, I could probably match my back squat so I bumped those up to 115 I think (that is alot for me considering I'm dragging my @$$ on the floor) ... Going to hopefully hit them tonight. I have no patience for kids in the squat rack, & since summer is over, if they are there I just find something else to do.

well, my back squat was always better then my front squat...i never liked doing the front squats...it didn't feel right....i never felt i was doing them correctly.

how did they feel for you the first time buns?

I was talking about the kids that go there at night silly lol, along with all the after work people (who are mostly on the cardio equip, the kids are playing in the weight room).

Fronts feel ALOT better vs Backs for me. Smooth & easy, no good morning squats :) <-- those happen usually on the last rep of a heavy set, then I correct before nailing it :D Me and my big 115 lol :D

I prefer them actually lol, we'll see after tonight...
 
well that's great buns! i wanted to incorporate fronts but it felt unnatural...kind of like the way i feel with clothes on....what??? :p

Glad you got some sleep Bunn. It is such a crucial piece of the puzzle.

How much more muscle are carring now then when you did the BW photos - the serratus one I love so much - ? I think if you go into a show looking that lean w/ all your new muscle you'll do great. There is another photo that is always on the emails GS sends that has you in a teal Under Armour suit. I think that color looks great on you; might be a decent color choicer for your posing suit??? Just a thought. . These emails from GS also have the pics of you in your "love" panties............lol......just had to put that in. Panties is such a great word.

I was 138 in those shoot pics lol. My "love" panties!!! I 'LOVE' those!!! Little Boy shorts... The serratus one in my profile? I've taken a few but if it's that one then yes, from the same shoot.

I cannot accurately tell you LMB #'s b/c different people were tracking the %'s & pinch sites compared to now (I use to get 3 sites, not its always no less than 7) ... It appears I put on plenty though eh? Another good reason to take pics, pay attention to how your clothes fit, and not always pay attention to the #'s ... :D Scale weight is a different story. I am currently just shy of 30 lbs heavier lol :D

and proud of it.

So my workout will be the same as last week (which I liked) and I guess I'll get my carbs a little higher today so I can hit legs in the AM.. sounds good to me.

I do that on days I have to train very early in the am. I need plenty of carbs to get me going and fill me out. So you can imagine I'd be dead under the bar if I didn't go a little overboard with the carbs the night before. Plus you are a strong person, an AM leg workout can't do a thing to stop you ;)

Coming Right up!!!! I PR'd on my front squats again! lol 15 lbs shy of my Back Squat and I didn't even go til failure! WOO HOO!!! Is that normal?!

Question, my
BB bench is 95 for 4 reps (failure),
Back Squat 115 for 4 (semi failure, didnt wanna push it),
Front 100 for 4 (not failure).

Isn't it good to have a bench close to your squat?

I also did 3 unassisted pullups on Tuesday but I think I forgot to add them in (not at the same time, in b/w sets.. easier than usual, i.e. being able to pull myself up from the ground not starting on my tippy toes)

You're back squat, you can probably go heavier, u just don't know it yet and the front squats provide a sense of safety, hence the fearless PR's... that's what I think :artist:

Ohhh... have u tried the "I'm trying to choke myself out" grip yet?

It may be a more comfortable way of holding the bar for front squats...


And 'Bows don't need to be flying high... just enough to have proper balance throughout the lift.

my trainer told me to start sqeezing from the calves and work your way up that way your in check of your whole body being tight, hope that helps :)

Won't be on alot today, MUCH work to do.

I did Back & Sprints today :) Tonight it's going to be Traps, Post/lat delts, possibly calves & abs.

I may have to go to a birthday party so that should be good to get out. I have NO inclination to drink at all WHATSOEVER. Now eating icecream & chocolate is another story :rolleyes:.

GOOd thing is...i dropped by the gym before work to see if my boy was there because he was holding some gear for me (bench shirts not real GEAR lol) But i got a nice bench shirt that i am going to get the open backed closed up. and some shorts to keep in place.

I wanna see you killin some new PRs today =]

I expect strength to begin to taper shortly but who knows with the random increases I've had in the past. If they keep increases with my main goal being to cut for this show, then FINE BY ME... have to keep focused on the ultimate goal these days & not get too overzealous & injure myself lol :D

Massage was great ... I LOVE it at that place ...wow ... safe haven for sure. The owner called me Miss Fitness America which really made my day. :)

I tracked down the Yoga girl I was referred to ... Wow she is $100 an hour lol, her and her S.O. have MAD skills it's incredible ... too rich for my blood though. :D

I am going to whole foods to buy a nice hunk of red meat and :chomp: ... :heart: Maybe get a salad there too ... They have the BEST ANPB Rice Krispie treats omfg, stay away lol :evil:
